Sunny Cashew Ketchup


Make you own Ketchup (tomato sauce) at home and avoid the extra salt, sugars, and chemicals you normally find in the store bought products. This way you get to have the flavour profile you desire.


Units Scale

1/2 cup raw cashews soaked in water for 1 – 2 hours and then drained

2 cup tomatoes chopped or diced (canned is Ok)

6 sun-dried tomatoes

2 T. red or white wine vinegar

2 cloves garlic

2 T. EV Olive Oil

salt and pepper to taste


1) Add all ingredients to a food processor or your favorite kitchen blending tool, and blend until smooth. If more water is required, add filtered water 1 Tbsp at a time until the desired consistency is achieved.

2) Taste and add salt if necessary.


You may add filtered water to desired consistency, and if you want some “POP” add a red chili or two!
